Good morning, my fellow Miamians 🦩

Every parent I know spends the school week saying the same THING in different rooms: not on the walls, not on the sofa, and put down the slime. This weekend the Miami Children's Museum takes the opposite position - bubble foam, slime, frozen paint popsicles on a mural, and the only rule is bring a towel and a change of clothes. The museum handles the cleanup.

Saturday also brings the event I wish existed when our family was starting out: more than 175 disability resources in an air-conditioned pavilion, with games, door prizes, and a sensory play area to keep the kiddos busy while you collect answers. And Sunday, The Bass in Miami Beach is free all day with hands-on art making for everyone. A generous way to close out August.
