You know that Miami thing where the calendar says August so the whole County decides the only reasonable response is to get on the water or get somewhere with the AC cranked to arctic? Whatever your family is in the mood for, there's a version of it happening somewhere.

There's sailing on the Bay for every ability, tennis coaching workshop on Key Biscayne for players with autism, giant animatronic bugs at the zoo, and a warehouse in Wynwood filled with inflatable art you're allowed to touch. Pick one, pick them all, or just find some shade and call it a win.

​Now through August 20th Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday​

​Now through September 27th: Pop Air - Art is Inflatable at Balloon Museum. Inflatable installations you can walk through and touch. Mana Wynwood Convention Center, NW 23rd St

​Now through October 31st, Bugtopia at Zoo Miami: Giant animatronic insects, with bug-detective microscope stations where kids earn a junior entomologist certificate.
